Stellar and River Island Shopping Event

On Friday November 29th , River Island Grafton St laid on a treat for their customers.

In store was a DJ pumping tunes to get customers ready for the weekend. Two lovely manicurists from Maybelline had also set up a nail bar in the River Island store downstairs by the accessories.

Manicurists used the fabulous vibrant polishes from the Colour Show range,  giving a juicy colour pop for your nails. See the range of colours available on the Maybelline website, link below:

More festive looks were achieved by using gorgeous glitter polish, that gave great coverage when used alone, and gave a great accent nail when used over a colour polish.

The best thing of all about the evening was that Stellar magazine readers were given a delicious 20% discount to use whilst shopping in River Island this weekend.

Ladies Night

Next Friday December 6th, Heaven O'Connell Street will play host to the ultimate Ladies Night for pampering and beauty.

This night is a celebration of the first year of business for Heaven, and there are loads of treats in store for customers.

Heaven Face and Body was set up ten years ago, with the first salon in Grafton Street. As the business grew, further Heaven salons then opened in Ashbourne, and subsequently, Rathmines.

On 6th December there will be free consultations available for laser skin mapping, any file and polish will come with a free hand and foot massage.

Hair Extensions- My experience so far....

Having longed for luscious locks for what felt like an age, I finally decided to take the plunge and get hair extensions.

The choice available is huge, and there are a number of factors to consider when making this decision.

Price
The price of hair extensions will vary depending on what type of hair is used, the length required, and the method of application used.

Application Methods
There are various methods of applying hair extensions including:

• Microbead
• Clip In
• Weft
• Keratin bonded

I chose to have my hair extensions applied using the micro bead method.


Durability
The extensions applied to my hair should last for about three months from date of application.

This is subject to proper care of the extensions, and if the hair extensions are in good condition they can be reapplied after the three month period.

Care
So far I have found the hair extensions to be a little more time consuming to take care of than my usual hair.

One of the main differences I have noticed is that I have been using a lot more conditioner to tame the extra length!

Over the coming weeks and months I will update with further posts on hair masks and conditioners.

Wow, enjoyed the most wonderful event run by The Loop and Image Magazine, the Christmas Party. This fabulous event celebrated the joy of giving this Christmas on November 14th at House Dublin.

L'Occitane Store Event by Social and Personal Magazine

Enjoyed attending the L'Occitane En Provence event in association with Social and Personal magazine on October 28th 2013.

When visiting the L'Occitane Dublin store, I received a fabulous goodie bag with some amazing L'Occitane products.

Whilst at the store I was also treated to a facial and the most relaxing hand massage using such luxurious L'Occitane products.
