My 5 most loved products for November

I would love to share my most loved products from last month. All these bottles are empty because I couldn't stop using these beauties!

1.Cien Provitamin Conditioner- Volume and Style
Since I got my new hair extensions I have been flying through bottles of conditioner like there is no tomorrow. Sometimes I feel like I need to add volume to my hair as I notice that it can look flat now that there is so much length to my hair. I picked this conditioner up whilst doing my grocery shopping in Lidl.

2. The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish
I got this body polish as part of a gift set from the Body Shop. I would tend to use this product as part of my exfoliation routine when I am preparing to put on some fake tan. The body polish does exactly what it says on the tin. There are lots of little seeds that scrub and polish your skin to perfection. This gem retails at about €14.50 at the Body Shop.

3. Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan
This fake tan has been the lifesaver for many last minute nights out this month! The foam is light, and also has a slight golden brown colour as you are putting it on. This is something I think all fake tans should have as it helps you avoid the dreaded white patches! When you are stuck for time this is the ultimate tan and I find that if you moisturise you can have a golden glow for 2 or even 3 days after you apply. This tan is also such great value if you are on a budget, at €7.99 you can't go wrong. Cocoa Brown is stocked in Penney's, Tesco and pharmacies nationwide.

4. Pretty Quik Manicure on the go- Instant Nail Polish Remover
I wish I could remember where I picked up this gem! The Pretty Quik Instant Nail Polish Remover is exactly as its name describes it. You get a little pot that contains a sponge soaked in nail polish remover with a criss cross incision in the middle. You pop your fingernail into the middle of the sponge, twist and voila your nail polish has been removed! This is also a bargain at only €3.00 in Boots stores.

5. Nivea Pearl and Beauty Cream Oil Shower
This shower cream has been great to keep my skin moisturised in the cold weather. I have found that my skin has been getting really dry from central heating and cold weather. You can really notice the difference after using this shower cream for a week. It is also great value if you are on a budget, as this retails at about €2.59 in Boots stores.

ELF Christmas Haul

Last week I received an email about E.L.F. having a 50% off sale on all products.

I was mulling over ideas on what to get my sisters as stocking fillers for Christmas so I checked out the sale on the E.L.F. website at

I chose some gifts for myself while I was looking, as the prices are such great value it is hard to say no. I have bought makeup from the E.L.F. website in the past and found it to be of good quality and great value.

Glitter Nail Polish
The festive season calls for some glitz and this glitter nail varnish from E.L.F. will jazz up any ensemble. It can be used for all over cover, or you could paint your nails with all over colour and a statement nail.

This nail polish costs just £2.50, which is great value.
Festive Eye Shadow Palette

I picked up a few of these 32 piece 'Festive Eye-shadow Palette', cost £6, as great gifts for my friends. These gifts are something that can be used so much over the festive season and throughout the year. I love the mixture of bright and smokier colours, it means that a wide range of looks can be created with one single palette.

E.L.F. are currently running a special offer on their website, giving a free gift when £15 or more is spent. I must say that almost every time I shop on the E.L.F. website, there is usually a great special offer or freebie available!

Plumping Lip Glaze

I know a lot of readers will know the 'Sexy Mother Pucker' plumping lip gloss by Soap and Glory at Boots. I am a huge fan, I love the effect and look that the gloss gives. For all the bargain hunters out there, I have found a cheap as chips version sold by E.L.F., the Plumping Lip Glaze, which retails at just £1.50 and comes in six luscious shades.

Lucy Lockets fashion haul!

Last Saturday I went to Kells, County Meath, to do some shopping. As always, as soon as I saw the Lucy Locket's shop window, I needed to go in and have a look!

I have always found Lucy Locket's to be affordable and very up to date with the latest fashion trends. It is one of those shops that will cater for whatever look you are putting together. Stocking great key pieces like embellished clutch bags, brooches, jewellery and then a whole range of fashionable clothing.

As I am on a strict pre Christmas budget, I thought that I might just be browsing, but to my delight there was an awesome sale rail in store.

Now that I had my eyes on this magnificent rail of 2 for €10 bargains, I couldn't be stopped. What I was looking for were items that I could dress up or dress down, suitable for family dinners or Christmas parties and nights out. I managed to find three items for myself and one item as a gift.

Floral Playsuit

This playsuit is fab for day and night, in the day time I would team this with opaque black tights and boots. I would probably wear a red or green vest underneath.

For a more glam night time look I would wear the playsuit without tights, add a waist cinching belt and a long chain, with chunky heels or shoe boots.

This gorgeous playsuit had been reduced from €37 down to only €5 (as part of the 2 for €10 deal). I cannot believe that this is the first playsuit I have owned, how have I survived without one?

Zig Zag top

This zig zag top is fab! Again, I think this is something that can easily go from day to night. For daytime wear I would put this top on with jeans and a cardigan.

For a night time look I would wear this top with a blazer or a leather jacket, and skinny jeans or leather look leggings.

I would add some jewellery, but something simple in design, maybe a long chain to go over it. This top was reduced from €25 I think down to €5 (again as part of the 2 for €10 deal).

Embroidered panel dress

This embroidered dress is a so sexy and very flattering. It features two detachable straps so instantly you have two looks for the price of one.

This dress was reduced from €39 down to €5 as part of the two for €10 deal. I would wear this dress with  a statement necklace, maybe like one from Shutterbug's range, as featured in my previous blog post.

This dress would look amazing with black stilettos and a cream or black clutch bag for the night out essentials. I will be writing a blog post about my favourite bags pretty soon so watch this space. This dress really reminds me of Nicole Sherzinger's style, so this is a celeb style steal!

Blue Shift Dress with Leather Look stripes

This dress is another piece that can take you from day to night. For a day look I would wear this dress with tights and black pumps and a long cardigan.
For a more glam night time look I would team this with a leather jacket and black stilettoes. As the neckline is high I wouldn't wear a necklace but instead I would wear a bracelet or a cuff.
This dress was reduced from €37 down to €5 in the two for €10 deal. You can view more of Lucy Locket's clothing, jewellery and accessories by visiting   :

Shutterbug Accessories

When I arrived at Smithfield Sunday Morning I couldn't believe my eyes, a queue out the door! People had been there since 9am, waiting in line to get a ticket for admission to the Vintage Kilo Sale.

I took my place in line around 11am or so and the sale opened at 12. This was the mother of all sales, with rails of vintage clothing as far as the eye could see in every direction. The area of the sale I first came across was the Shutterbug vintage pop up store.

Ladies if you are looking for eye catching vintage accessories for the coming party season, or a toasty faux fur stole, then you NEED to check out Shutterbug. Their costume jewellery is a guaranteed show stopper for your New Years Eve or Christmas parties!

The vintage look accessories started at €19.99 which is great value for that really expensive look. Teamed with a long dress and faux fur stole, any ensemble would ooze sophistication and glamour.

Shutterbug also have an amazing rang of vintage look hats that are great for any season. You can check out the Shutterbug shop in Kilkenny and keep an eye out for the next Kilo Sale by visiting their Facebook page at

If you are a bit of a magpie like myself and looking for some very bling bling jewellery, there were also some heavier silver and diamante necklaces and collars on sale from the Folkster store. If  I were to wear one of the pieces below I would team it with something simple, a dress with no embellishment, and toned down makeup, no other accessories required, only a smile.
You can check out the gorgeous Xevana necklace at:

Finally if you are on the hunt for Christmas presents for your sister, mother, and friends, you should take a look at the earrings at Shutterbug. There is a huge variety of colours, styles and shapes and sizes so you can find something for everyone. Here are a few I cast my eyes on last Sunday.

As usual when I go shopping I came across so many things I didn't even know I needed! Happy shopping!

Last Thursday, Oasis St Stephen's Green hosted a festive evening for shoppers. The scene was set with softly fallen snow and a DJ instore. The 'Design Your Future' event celebrated winner Catherine Kelly's victory in the design competition.
